With 1.61 Arba turnover, NEPSE gains 4.64 points to close at 1,462.67; NRIC with highest turnover and shares traded

The stock market gained minimal 4.64 points (0.32%) today and ultimately closed at 1,462.67.

Because of the internal issues in the online trading platform, NEPSE was halted during market hours today. Thus, the market was postponed and reopened at 3:15 PM. It ultimately closed at 5:15 PM to make up for the loss of time.

Overall 17.74 points volatility was observed during trading hours, with the lowest point being 1,444.93 and the highest being the day's market-close itself.

3,685,963 shares were traded that amounted to Rs. 1.61 Arba in turnover amount. Meanwhile, 186 scrips were traded via 33,973 transactions.

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) has the highest turnover of Rs. 34.32 crores. The shares of NRIC also traded the most today.

The Float index gained 0.08 points to close at 101.95 while the Sensitive index is at 296.29 after losing 0.8 points.

NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited gained the most 9.76% today.

On the other hand, the Taragaon Regency hotel lost the most 5.16%.

Three sectors lost today while all others ended green. The sector "Others" gained the most 3.08% while Banking lost the most 0.61%.
