Warm clothes distributed in Dalit settlements

Relief materials, mostly the warm clothes, were distributed to the earthquake survivors in a Dalit settlement of Chautara Municipality in Sindhupalchowk district on Saturday. Association of Women Civil Servants and a Nepali living in Singapore, Dr Nikhil Gautam, and others too provided financial support for the cause. A total of 80 households received one each blanket in ward no. 1 and 2 of Chautara Municipality, Association’s chairperson Anjana Subedi said. Likewise, 14 other quake-hit families in the same municipality were also given warm clothes, jackets, mufflers, caps and others. RSS
