Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Promoter Shareholder Announces Plan to Sell 80,000 Shares

Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company Limited (UHEWA) has received an intention from one of its promoter shareholders to sell 80,000 shares held in the company within the next three months.

According to the company, promoter shareholder Bhim Lal Paudyal submitted an application on Ashwin 7, 2083 (September 23, 2026), expressing an intention to sell 80,000 shares of Upper Hewakhola Hydropower Company within the next three months.

The company disclosed the information in accordance with the regulatory requirement applicable to promoter shareholders selling a specified portion of their holdings.

The company said the disclosure has been made pursuant to Section 84(1) of the Securities Act, 2063 and a directive issued by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) through letter no. 499 dated Bhadra 9, 2083.

Under the provision, promoter shareholders intending to sell 5% or more of their shareholding are required to notify the concerned listed company at least 15 days before the proposed sale.

The notice has therefore been issued to inform investors and other concerned stakeholders about the promoter shareholder's proposed share sale.
