United Modi Hydropower’s AGM on Poush 7 ; to endorse 5% cash dividend; Book Closure on Mangsir 22

United Modi Hydropower Limited (UMHL) will be convening its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 7, 2074. The AGM will be held at UWTC Hall, Tripureswor, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM. The main agendas of the AGM are:

• To endorse 5% cash dividends (including for tax) worth 5.75 crore to its shareholders from the profit of FY 2073/74.
• To elect 1 BOD member from promoter shareholders group, 2 BOD members from public shareholders group and endorse appointment of 2 independent directors.
• To amend the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA) as per directions received by regulatory bodies

Other agendas of the AGM include endorsement of financial statements of the FY 2073/74 and appointment of auditor for the FY 2074/75. The book closure date for the AGM was set on Mangsir 22 till Poush 7, 2074. Thus, shareholders holding shares till Mangsir 21, i.e. one day ahead of the book closure date are eligible to participate in AGM and for 5% cash dividends Its current paid up capital stands at Rs 1.15 arba.It had earned Rs 4.18 crore in the first quarter of the FY 2074/75. Its earnings per share (EPS) stands at Rs 3.64 and net worth per share is at Rs 109.07.
