Ukraine's President awards Vaidya

Ukraine President Petro Poroshenko has conferred 'Order of Merit III -- President Award' on Kiran Vaidya, the Honorary Consul of Ukraine in Nepal in recognition of his diligent efforts and relief activities after the April earthquake and his dutiful activity in his position as the Honorary Consul for the past 15 years. The award is regarded the highest awarded in the country, according to a statement issued on Tuesday. Ambassador of the Embassy of Ukraine to India Oleksandr Shevchenko handed over the award to Vaidya amid a function in New Delhi, India, on Monday.
