Ujyaalo Nepal Party Restarts Signature Collection Campaign Against Electricity Tax

The Ujyaalo Nepal Party has resumed its petition campaign (Signature Collectioin) demanding the removal of the five percent tax added to electricity bills.

The party had originally started the drive on August 1, but it was temporarily paused following destructive flooding in Rasuwa on August 26.

Kedar Khadka, Secretary of the Ujyaalo Nepal Party, stated that the party decided to restart the drive to continue the strong support and active participation received from the public.

The party leadership has called on all its leaders, members, and local committees across provincial, district, municipal, and ward levels to immediately restart the campaign in their respective areas.
