Transport Office Issues 90,000 Driving Licenses, Collects NPR 198 Million Revenue

The Transport Management Office in Bhaktapur has distributed 90,000 driving licenses over the past three months. According to Pravin Shrestha, the chief of the office, a total of 238,000 licenses were printed during this period, with 90,000 already handed over to service seekers.

This massive distribution drive has contributed significantly to the state treasury, generating 198.2 million rupees in revenue. Currently, the office continues to expedite the process, issuing between 1,000 and 1,800 driving licenses daily to manage the flow of applicants.
