Today's market closes after a fall of 5.01 points; Closing index stands at 1,137.03

The NEPSE index has fallen by 5.01 points or 0.44% today closing at 1,137.03 points. The market had opened at 1,142.05 points and gradually went downwards throughout the day.
The total turnover for today stood at 19.66 crore with 7.36 lakh shares traded via 2,981 transactions.
Prabhu Bank (PRVU) had the highest turnover today stands at Rs 5.44 crore. It also has the highest number of shares traded throughout the day.
Global IME Samunnat Scheme - 1 (GIMES1) was the top gainer of the day climbing by 3.92% closing at Rs 6.89. Whereas the top loser for the day was Siddhartha Bank (SBL) losing 4.31% closing at Rs 294.
The sub-indices for Development Bank, Hydropower and Mutual Fund went up whereas the rest went dow and closed in red. The manufacturing and processing sector lost the most going down by 18.94 points.
