Ten Parliamentary Committees to Meet Today
Ten different parliamentary committees are scheduled to hold meetings today to discuss various important topics. A major focus for several committees, including the Finance Committee, is discussing suggestions and preparations for the upcoming budget for the fiscal year 2083/84.
The committees will also address various social, administrative, and international challenges. The Law, Justice, and Human Rights Committee will discuss the human rights conditions of prisoners with the Ministry of Home Affairs, while the Women and Social Affairs Committee plans to review the upcoming budget with the Ministry of Women, Children, and Senior Citizens. Additionally, the Infrastructure Development Committee will discuss how the ongoing war in the Middle East is affecting public infrastructure projects. Other meetings will cover topics such as the existing plans of the Ministry of Information and Communication, landless squatter monitoring, disaster preparation, and unsettled government accounts.
