Tax Certificate can now be generated online; IRD issues official notice

The Government of nepal is taking gentle strides towards digitalization. The Internal Revenue Department (IRD) of the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has recently published a notice informing that now taxpayers can generate their Tax Payment Certificate online through the Taxpayer Portal of IRD.

Therefore, if you have fully paid your tax then the certificate can be generated online. However, the notice also states that the certificate generated online will not include Certificate number, Chalani number, organization's stamp, and Tax Officer's signature. This is a half-glass-full kind of offer, which hopefully will be updated later on.
