SY Panel Nepal’s Net Profit Rises 1.08% to Rs. 6.75 Crore; Investment Surges 917.65%

SY Panel Nepal Limited has reported a 1.08% increase in net profit in the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2082/83, earning Rs. 6.75 Crore compared to Rs. 6.68 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s revenue from operations increased 7.50% to Rs. 81.28 Crore from Rs. 75.61 Crore a year earlier. Other income also surged 159.90% to Rs. 19.40 Lakh from Rs. 7.47 Lakh during the review period.
SY Panel Nepal’s ordinary share capital increased by 66.67% to Rs. 130.81 Crore from Rs. 78.49 Crore. Reserve and surplus also grew 30.34% to Rs. 15.41 Crore from Rs. 11.83 Crore.
The company’s administration expenses increased 23.33% to Rs. 5.35 Crore from Rs. 4.34 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
Investment increased sharply by 917.65% to Rs. 43.25 Crore from Rs. 4.25 Crore. Meanwhile, property, plant and equipment declined 3.40% to Rs. 56.28 Crore from Rs. 58.26 Crore.
Trade receivables declined 32.27% to Rs. 16.10 Crore from Rs. 23.77 Crore a year earlier.
Despite the modest growth in net profit, the company’s earnings per share (EPS) declined significantly by 39.35% to Rs. 5.16 from Rs. 8.51, mainly reflecting the substantial increase in its share capital.
SY Panel Nepal’s net worth per share stood at Rs. 111.78, down 2.85% from Rs. 115.07 in the previous year.
At the end of the review quarter, the company’s shares were priced at Rs. 1,255, with a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 243.16 times.
