Swabalamban& NMB Microfinance AGM today; to endorse 31.57%& 25% dividend respectively

Swabalamban LaghubittaBikas Bank Limited (SWBBL) is conducting its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Mangsir 15, 2074). The AGM is beingheld at Lainchaur Banquet, Kathmandu. The main agendas of the AGM are:
  • To endorse 20% bonus shares and 11.57% cash dividend from the net profit of FY 2073/74.
  • To increase issued and paid up capital.
  • To amend the name of the company.
  • To amend the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA).
Other agendas of the AGM are major financial highlights of the FY 2073/74 and appointment of auditor for the FY 2074/75. The book closure date for the AGM has been set on Kartik 28, 2074. Thus only those shareholders owning shares till Kartik 27,2074, i.e. one day ahead of the book closure date are eligible to participate in the AGM and proposed dividends. SwabhalambanLaghubitta had earned net profit of Rs. 25.03 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2073/74. Its paid up capital stands at Rs 41.89 crore. After issuance of 20% bonus share, its paid up capital will reach Rs 50.27 crore, Likewise, NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NMBMF) is holding its 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today. The AGM is being held at Hotel Grand, Pokhara at 11:00 AM. The man agendas of the AGM are:
  • To endorse 25% bonus shares and 1.3158 % cash dividend from the net profit of FY 2073/74.
  • To amend the Memorandum of Association (MOA) and Articles of Association (AOA).
  • To increase issued and paid up capital.
  • To conduct election for Board of Directors.
Other agendas of the AGM are major financial highlights of the FY 2073/74 and appointment of auditor for the FY 2074/75. The book closure date for the AGM has been set from Kartik 24 to Mangsir 15, 2074. Thus only those shareholders owning their shares till one day ahead of the book closure date, i.e. till Kartik 23, 2074 are eligible to participate in the AGM and proposed dividends. NMBMF has earned net profit of Rs 4.53 crore in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2073/74 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 11.46 crore. After adjustment of 25% stock dividend its paid capital will rise to Rs 14.32 crore.
