Supermai Hydropower Limited Proposes 21.11% Dividend; Plans 100% Right Shares Issue

Supermai Hydropower Limited (SMH) proposes a 21.11% dividend for FY 2081/82. The company has called its 11th AGM.

The 132nd meeting of the board of directors held on Magh 20 has proposed a 21.11% dividend for the fiscal year 2081/82. A 20% bonus shares worth Rs. 10.70 Crores and a 1.11% cash dividend (including tax) worth Rs. 59.27 lakhs have been proposed. The paid-up capital of the company is Rs. 53.50 Crores.

Following the issuance of the bonus shares, the company plans to issue rights shares in a 1:1 ratio based on the adjusted paid-up capital. The proposal, subject to prior approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission, will be presented for final approval at the company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting. The proceeds from the rights issue will be invested in other hydropower projects.
