Sunrise Bank cancels its10th AGM amidst dispute over election of BOD

Sunrise Bank Limited has cancelled its 10th Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was supposed to be held on Kartik 30, 2074. As per the notice published by the bank today, the AGM has been cancelled as Patan High Court issued an interim order against the bank. Due to the dispute in election of directors, the court ordered the bank to suspend all activities regarding the AGM. In its upcoming agenda, the bank was going to elect three directors from promoter shareholders. In this case, dispute occurred and a court case was filed against the bank after which the court ordered for postponement of AGM.
