Sun Nepal Life Launches Sun Smart Protection Insurance Plan

Sun Nepal Life Insurance has launched the ‘Sun Smart Protection Insurance Plan’ on the occasion of its ninth anniversary, targeting affordable financial protection for people aged 18 to 65.

The plan was launched by Chief Executive Officer Raj Kumar Aryal during an anniversary program held on Asoj 1. It is designed to provide financial protection to family earners, particularly those balancing professional and household responsibilities.

The plan offers coverage starting from Rs 1 million, with the insured amount determined based on the policyholder’s income. Premiums can be paid monthly, quarterly, half-yearly or annually.

In case of the insured’s death, the plan provides 100% of the sum assured. Optional benefits include funeral expenses of up to Rs 50,000 and up to Rs 100,000 in emergency healthcare coverage under the Sun Medicare facility.

The policy is available through Sun Nepal Life’s branch offices and digital platforms.

Sun Nepal Life has a paid-up capital of Rs 5.28 billion and operates through 136 branches and sub-branches with more than 40,000 agents.
