Summit Hotel Refutes Compensation Claim, Says Payment Already Made to Greenwich Hotel Operator
Summit Hotel has strongly denied allegations made by the operator of Greenwich Hotel regarding unpaid compensation related to construction damage during its hotel development project in Lalitpur. The hotel stated that it had already paid Rs. 9 Crores 66 Lakhs as compensation, which was acknowledged with a signed receipt.
According to Summit Hotel, the payment was made as part of an agreement covering damages to nearby properties during construction activities, and evidence of receipt has already been made public. The company claims that despite receiving the compensation, the Greenwich Hotel operator has publicly made misleading statements on social media, creating confusion.
Summit Hotel further stated that it has informed relevant government authorities, including the Lalitpur Metropolitan City, which had earlier sought clarification on how the compensation funds were utilized. The hotel has strongly rejected the allegations and termed the recent claims as baseless and misleading.
