Standard Chartered lists 25.58 lakh units FPO shares within one week of allotment; shares to be traded within a week

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) has listed 25.58 lakh units Further Public Offering (FPO) shares of Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCB) today (Jestha 2, 2073). With this, SCB has become the fastest company to list their shares in NEPSE. These listed shares can be traded after the allotees receive their allotted shares in their demat accounts. fpolistscb SCB had floated 25,58,140 lakh units FPO shares worth Rs 3.30 arba at Rs 1,290 per share from Chaitra 1 to Chaitra 4, 2073 and the allotment was concluded last week. NMB Capital, the issue manager of SCB FPO has been refunding excess money of FPO shares to the non-allottees from yesterday. Allotment for small investors who had applied Rs 12,900 (or 10 shares) to Rs 180,600 (or 140 shares) was decided through lottery. Other investors who had applied from 150 shares were allotted 6.38% on pro-rata basis. Investors who had applied for 30 units got 10 shares through lottery, whereas those who applied for 25,580 units got 1630 shares. Out of the total 2,17,322 valid applicants, 1,40,132 investors got the shares. SCB has earned Rs 1.06 arba net profit in the third quarter of the FY 2073/74. Its last traded closing price (LTP) stands at Rs 2,340 as on May 15, 2017.
