Siddhartha Ins. profit rises by 34.02%; Himalayan General Ins. profit drop by 11.20% in Q4

Siddhartha Insurance Company Limited (SIL) has reported a profit growth of 34.02 percent in the fourth quarter of the last fiscal year 2071/72.
According to the unaudited financial report for the fourth quarter published today, its net profit surged to Rs 16.15 crore in fourth quarter as compared to Rs 12.05 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last fiscal year 2070/71.
The company’s net earnings from premiums grew to Rs 48.87 crore in Q4 from Rs 34.29 crore in the same quarter last year.
The insurance company has paid up capital of Rs 27.58crore. The insurance fund has reached 20.85 crore in Q4, up from Rs 12.78 crore in the previous fiscal year.
SIL policy holder has increased to 95.23 thousand by the end of this quarter from 91.81 thousand reported in the same period of last year.
Siddhartha Insurance EPS stand at Rs 58.55, P/E ratio is at 11.08 times and net worth per share at Rs 235.21.
Meanwhile, Himalayan General Insurance Company Limited (HGI) profit decline by 11.20 % during the fourth quarter of last fiscal year 2071/72.
In the unaudited fourth quarterly financial report published today, the non-life insurance company has stated decrease in the net profit from Rs 9.33 crore in the corresponding quarter of FY 2070/71 as compared to Rs 8.29 crore in the fourth quarter of FY 2071/72.
The company’s net earnings from premiums went down to Rs 22.12 crore in Q4 from Rs 23.56 crore. Its policy holders also decrease to 16.94 thousand by the end of this quarter from20.79 thousand in the previous year report.
It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 26.75 crore.
A positive aspect of the financial report is that its reserve fund has risen to Rs 10.80 crore in the fourth quarter report up from Rs 8.41 crore in the FY 2070/71.
The company’s EPS stand at Rs 30.99, P/E ratio stands 12.29 times and net worth per share at Rs 199.96.
