Siddhartha Bank Launches Online Payment Gateway to Empower Nepali Businesses

Siddhartha Bank Limited has launched the Siddhartha Online Payment Gateway in partnership with Nepal Clearing House Limited (NCHL) to enhance digital transactions.
The gateway supports Visa and Mastercard payments from both local and international banks, enabling businesses in sectors like education, healthcare, tourism, hospitality, and NGOs to accept online payments easily.
This service eliminates the need for physical card presentation, promoting secure, fast, and contactless transactions. The gateway is part of the bank’s broader push for digital banking and aligns with Nepal’s goal of building a cashless economy. NCHL's support ensured the gateway met high security and compliance standards.
The initiative targets e-commerce growth, helping businesses collect fees, accept bookings, and raise funds online. It empowers local merchants to expand globally and enhances customer service through flexibility and convenience. Siddhartha Bank also promises continued technical support for users of the platform.
