Siddhartha Bank extends financial support to Nepal Eye Hospital
Siddhartha Bank has extended financial support of Rs. 110,000/- to Nepal Eye Hospital, Tripureshwor. The aid will be used to carry out cataract surgery of 44 marginalized cataract patients as a part of the corporate social responsibility of the Bank. Mr. Rameshwor Prasad Bashyal, Deputy General Manager of the Bank handed over the cheque of Rs. 110,000/- to Mr. Biswa Kanta Mainali, Chairman of Nepal Eye Hospital in the presence of Mr. Ishwor Pokhrel, Defense Minister of Nepal, amidst a ceremony conducted on the occasion of 44th anniversary of Nepal Eye Hospital.
Mr. Rameshwor Prasad Bashyal expressed his immense gratification on behalf of Siddhartha Bank for having had an opportunity to serve the society and assured that the Bank will continue to address the needs of the community and work for the betterment of the Nepalese society in the future as well, says the press statement issued by the bank.
