Shrinkage in net profit of Rapti Bheri by 26.86% in Q4; NPL drops to 0.16%

Nepalgunj based Rapti Bheri Bikas Bank Limited (RBBBL) has posted a net profit of Rs 95.23 lakh in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2071/2072. The net profit of the development bank dropped to Rs 95.23 lakh in the Q4 compared to Rs 1.30 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The development bank gained net interest income of Rs 2.42 crore in Q4 compared to Rs 2.05 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. It has mobilized Rs 56.99 crore in deposits whereas the loan has extended to Rs 51.77 crore in Q4 compared to Rs 37.46 crore in deposits and 33.70 crore in loan and advances in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The net interest income of the development bank reached to Rs 2.42 crore in Q4 .Its non performing loan dropped down to 0.16 from 0.29 percent in Q4.
It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 12.50 crore with Rs 1.78 crore in reserve.
The development bank CD ratio stood at 72.64%
