Shivshakti Group and Reliance Sugar Contribute Over Rs 61 lakh for Bhotekoshi Flood Relief
Shivshakti Group has contributed Rs 51 lakh to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by the devastating flood in Rasuwa's Bhotekoshi river on Bhadra 10.
The flood caused extensive human and physical damage across Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading, Gorkha, Tanahun, Chitwan and Nawalparasi districts. The contribution was made on behalf of the company's leadership Rajkumar Agrawal, Sandeep Kumar Agrawal and Rahul Kumar Agrawal along with the entire company family, was handed over to the Finance Minister.
Reliance Sugar and Chemical Industries Pvt Ltd, Bara, also contributed Rs 10 lakh to the fund.
Shivshakti Group paid tribute to all Nepali citizens and foreign tourists who lost their lives in the flood, extending condolences to the bereaved families and wishing a speedy recovery to the injured. The group reaffirmed its solidarity with the government and the people of Nepal during this difficult time.
The company appealed to the private sector, industrialists, businesses, organisations and the general public to contribute to relief and rescue efforts according to their capacity, stating that even small contributions can provide significant support to affected families.
