Shivam Cement Distributes Warm Clothes, Educational Materials to Students

Shivam Cement Limited has distributed warm clothes, school bags and educational materials to students studying at Apanga Nawajeevan Kendra in Kathmandu.

The company said the materials were provided to support the students’ education and make their daily lives easier.

The initiative also follows the company’s earlier support for Sandesh Budha Magar, a student from Rolpa who was born without functional arms and continues his studies by writing with his feet. After his story received media attention, Shivam Cement coordinated with Apanga Nawajeevan Kendra and Khagendra Nawajeevan Special Education Secondary School to support his education through secondary level.

Under the arrangement, the centre manages his accommodation and care, while the school provides special education. Shivam Cement has been covering expenses related to his education and other needs.

The company said it plans to continue initiatives supporting education and inclusion of children with special needs.
