Shilpa Pradhananga Takes Oath as Chairperson of GMFBS

Shilpa Pradhananga, the newly appointed Chairperson of Ganapati Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (GMFBS), has taken the oath of office and secrecy before the Chief of Nepal Rastra Bank, Pokhara Office, Keshav Prasad Timsina, as per the Banking and Financial Institutions Act, 2073.

Pradhananga was unanimously elected as Chairperson during the company’s 9th Annual General Meeting and formally assumed office on Wednesday, Baisakh 16, 2083. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by Nepal Rastra Bank officials, along with the company’s Chief Executive Officer Bishnu Prasad Dhakal and Senior Manager Ravindra Kumar Neupane KC. Established in 2016, the institution has been providing microfinance services across rural areas in 23 districts of Nepal.
