Shares of Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Can Now Be Traded; NEPSE Lists Shares After Successful Merger Procedure

28,56,201.6 unit shares of Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited are now listed in NEPSE.

After a successful merger, Samata Laghubitta (ticker SMATA) and Gharelu Laghubitta commenced their joint operation from 2nd Baisakh, 2078. The companies are jointly operating under the name of Samata Gharelu Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited with the central office at Banepa, Ward 08, Kavrepalanchowk.

Trading of Samata Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (SMATA) was halted during the merger process since 13th May 2020. NEPSE has now released the shares and freed them for trading with the decision of the exchange today, i.e. Baisakh 20. 

Earlier, the total paid up capital of SMATA was Rs 22.93 crore whereas, of Gharelu Laghbubitta Rs 7.03 crore. Both institution merged at 100: 80 swap ratio.
