Shanker Group Contributes NPR 40 million to PM Relief Fund

Shanker Group has handed over a cheque of NPR 40 million to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for citizens affected by the recent disaster.

Mrs. Deepa Agrawal, Director of Shanker Group, along with the company's senior management, presented the cheque to Finance Minister at a handover ceremony in Kathmandu.

The group had earlier provided 2,500 tarpaulin tents worth NPR 2.5 million for temporary shelter to displaced citizens in Bhairahawa, coordinated through the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Chief District Officer, on the third day of the disaster.

Expressing condolences to those who lost their lives and sympathy for the bereaved families, the group said it remains committed to standing with the government and citizens during the crisis, and thanked the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, Nepal Police, volunteers and government officials for their rescue and relief efforts.
