Shangrila Development Bank Organizes 4th Cycle Rally in Kathmandu on World Environment Day
Shangrila Development Bank Limited successfully organized its 4th Shangrila Cycle Rally in Kathmandu on the occasion of World Environment Day, with around 1,500 participants joining the event.
The rally began from Elish Reception in Gairidhara and covered a 14-kilometer route through key areas of the city including Narayanchour, Durbar Marg, Sundhara, Tripureshwor, Maitighar, New Baneshwor, Gaushala, Naxal, and Bhattbhateni, before returning to the starting point.
The event was aimed at promoting environmental conservation and encouraging a cycling culture in urban areas. Winners of the lucky draw received prizes, including a bicycle awarded to Anju Parajuli, while participants also received gift hampers.
The bank stated that it has been organizing the cycle rally annually since 2079 BS to support environmental awareness and promote sustainable lifestyle practices, while continuing to expand its services across Nepal.
