SEBON eyes to using digital signature during share transactions; conducts multi-sectoral interaction event to delve into its possibility

Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) has conducted an interaction-come-orientation program on Mangsir 12, 2075 for the share brokers regarding the using procedures and utility of digital signatures with technical support from Nepal Certifying Company Pvt. Ltd.

Director of the Certifying company Mr. Dipak Bhandari informed the stock brokers gather in the event regarding the usefulness and application of digital signature in performing range of duties in today’s share market driven by technology. The chairman of the company Mr. Biplavman Singh also highlighted that the federal government has already given its go-ahead signal for using digital signatures for the official government purpose and collection of those signature would indeed begin from the current fiscal year.

The event was also attended by chairman of the boardDr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, ED Mr. Paristanath  Paudel, director Mr. Narayan Prasad Sharma among others.
