SEBON asks NEPSE to speed up the distribution of brokerage licenses to banks

SEBON directed NEPSE to provide broker licenses to concerned banks. SEBON directed NEPSE to do the same after the meeting held on 25^th Asadh however; no implementation has been done even after 18 days post the meeting. SEBON directed NEPSE to provide licenses for branches outside Kathmandu valley that are financially efficient.

Prior to this, NEPSE provided a report proposal in order to specify a certain number of subsidiary companies for banks, subsidiary company to be restricted to use counters of main company. However, SEBON rejected the proposal and announced that the new provisions will be implemented as per the guidelines set on 2075/09/18.
