Sanima Bank Signs Deal with Truck Operators for QR-based Toll Payment at Naagdhunga Tunnel
The Federation of Truck Transport Entrepreneurs Nepal and Sanima Bank Limited have signed an agreement enabling cashless payment of entry and usage fees at the Naagdhunga–Sisnekhola tunnel via RFID and QR code systems, eliminating the need for operators to carry cash.
The deal was signed by Federation representative Rajendra Bikram Baniya and Sanima Bank's Chief Deposit Officer Hemraj Sanjyal.

Under government-fixed rates, cars and other light vehicles will pay Rs. 65 for entry and Rs. 60 exit, minibuses and mini trucks Rs. 115 and Rs. 80 buses and single-axle trucks Rs. 260 and Rs. 200 and multi-axle trucks and heavy vehicles Rs. 600 and Rs. 250.
Federation chairperson Baniya said the cashless system will bring added convenience to operators who use the tunnel regularly.
