Sahas Urja Rejects News of Damage to Solu Khola Hydro Project

Sahas Urja Limited has formally denied social media and media reports claiming that its 86 megawatt Solu Khola (Dudhkoshi) Hydroelectric Project suffered damage during recent flooding.

In an official statement, the power company labeled the news completely false and misleading. Sahas Urja confirmed that no flooding occurred at the project site and that all physical structures of the plant remain intact and fully operational.

The company clarified that recent flood damage was strictly confined to the temporary worker camp and access road of the 341 megawatt Budhi Gandaki Hydroelectric Project in Gorkha district, which is being developed by its subsidiary company, Times Energy. Sahas Urja urged media outlets and the public not to share or spread unverified news.
