RMDC Kohalpur branch successfully completes Training program on Product Design; 32 officials from 11 districts receive benefits
RMDC LBSL, Kohalpur branch has successfully organized the "Training on Product Design" from 12th to 14th June 2019. Officials from 32 partner organizations of 11 districts were benefited from the training program. During the opening session of the training, Mr. Pritha Bahadur Thapa, senior manager of credit department expressed his views on importance as well as objectives of the training in present scenario of Microfinance Industry in Nepal.
Two most experienced personalities in MF sector Senior consultant Mr. Prahlad Mali and Officiating CEO from Center for Microfinance Mr. Nepal were the resource persons of the training program. During the sessions the conceptual understanding of product and services and product feature, Meeting with Board/SMT: Need and capacity assessment; Formation of Product Development Team; Exposure on major research tools in product development, FGD guidelines; Basic skills of FGD facilitator; Handling FGD participants; checklist for conducting FGD for product development; Competitor’s Product Analysis, comparing with competitor’s product; finalization of second draft prototype product; second round of FGD with likes and dislikes on prototype; Finalizing prototype using likes and dislikes of FGD feedback with capacity review, Projection of the new product for three years and rollout at larger scale; closing; Action plan were discussed during the sessions. Participants were involved in different simulations, dramas and exercises during the preparation of prototype of the products.
During the closing session of the training program Mr. Bharat Kumar Singh, branch manager of Kohalpur Branch expressed his gratitude to the honorable resource persons and participants for coming to Kohalpur and making the training program the grand success. CEO of Ramaroshan Bittiya Sanstha Ltd, Mr. Bakhat Bahadur Batala, Manager of Siddeshwori Mahila Sahakari Sanstha Ltd. Mrs Pabitra Chapai Oli and secretory of Parichit Saving and Credit Cooperative Mr. Chitra Bahadur Bohora gave their note of thanks to RMDC for making this event. They also shared the learnings during the training program. Mr. Naresh Nepal thanked all the participants for their active participation. Mr. Pritha Bahadur Thapa distributed certificate to the participants. Mr. Pritha Bahadur Thapa made his final remarks and discussed the learning of the training. He also thanks for the resource persons for sharing their experience and skills, POs for sending the participants and branch staffs for making this training happen.
