Real estate expo soon

KATHMANDU:

Nepal Land and Housing Developers Association (NLHDA) is organising a four-days property expo at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu from April 17 to 20. The event is being organised to give full information to general public, clients planning to build their homes and those who want to buy land, houses or apartments.

More than 150 exhibitors representing land and housing developers, construction materials, banks and insurance, interior design, furniture and furnishing, plumbing and sanitary, vaastu and electrical goods, among other are taking part in the expo. As per the organisers, they expect over 150,000 visitors and transaction of property worth Rs two billion over the four days.

“This time we are focusing on three things — product, price and promotion,” said Ichha Raj Tamang, present of the NLHDA, addressing a press conference. He said that for the event, developers are coming up with attractive discounts and other offers that would enable potential customers to buy property at cheaper price.

During the expo, UN Habitat as a part of its technical support, will also be making special presentation on eco-friendly home. The expo will have daily property tours and showcase vaastu home designs, eco-friendly homes, earthquake resistant homes, among others.
