Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited Launches SME Loan Portfolio Protection Scheme in Koshi Province

Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited and the Deposit and Credit Guarantee Fund have begun implementing the “Portfolio Protection Scheme for Contribution-Based Loans 2082” to promote investment in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Under the Udaya Project, jointly supported by the Swiss government’s SDC and the Koshi Province Government, loans issued to SMEs in Koshi Province will be secured through the Koshi Province SME Credit Protection Fund.

The scheme will provide loans ranging from Rs. 3 million to Rs. 30 million for agriculture, industry, and service businesses under RBB’s SME loan products at competitive interest rates and processing fees. Established in 1966 AD, RBB currently serves over 4.7 million customers through its nationwide network of branches, ATMs, and digital banking services.
