Proton Opens 11th Showroom in Birgunj, Launches All-New e.MAS 5
Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal has opened a new authorized showroom in Birgunj. It is a major commercial hub of Madhesh Province taking the total number of Proton outlets in the country to 11. The company also officially launched the All-New Proton e.MAS 5 at the event.

The showroom opening and launch event was attended by Birgunj Metropolitan City Acting Mayor Imtiyaz Alam, along with business partners, media representatives, auto journalists and other guests.
The e.MAS 5 is Proton's second electric vehicle in the Nepali market, designed to make urban travel and daily commuting easier and more convenient. The model recently won the "Electric Compact Vehicle of the Year 2026" title at the Allianz DSF Vehicle of the Year Awards 2026 in Malaysia.
The vehicle features a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 70-litre front trunk, rear luggage space expandable up to 375 litres, and 32 storage compartments.
The Proton e.MAS 5 is available in two variants Prime and Premium priced at an introductory NPR 3.299 million and NPR 3.699 million respectively for the Birgunj launch.
