Protesters destroy 500 litres fuel

The cadres of the United Democratic Madhesi Front today seized 500 litres of petrol at Gaushala in the district and destroyed it, saying the fuel was smuggled in from India. The UDMF has launched a protest movement in the Terai-Madhes for over three months now against the federal state delineation in the new constitution and some provisions therein. The cadres of the Front seized the petrol which was being brought in jerrycans on bicycle and a motorcycle. The fuel seized and destroyed by the UDMF protesters includes 400 litres diesel and 100 litres petrol. RSS
