Prime Minister Balendra (Balen) Shah is scheduled to hold a meeting with construction business leaders to address their current challenges and discuss changes to government rules today at Singha Durbar. Top officials and members from the Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) will take part in this discussion. The meeting aims to find practical solutions to help speed up development projects and clear up administrative delays that have slowed down the construction industry.

This discussion follows another major meeting held just yesterday at the Prime Minister's Office. Marking 100 days of the current government, Prime Minister Shah hosted his first official meeting with major business groups, including the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), and the Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).

During yesterday's gathering, business leaders asked the government to keep its business laws stable, make public services simpler, and protect private investments to help lift the economy out of its current slow phase. Prime Minister Shah reassured the business community, calling them vital partners in creating jobs and growing the nation. He promised that the government would take their suggestions seriously and introduce helpful reforms to make the country a better place to do business.
