Prachanda Wins from Rukum East

The Nepali Communist Party has opened its account after its coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” secured a win from Rukum East.
Dahal received 10,240 votes while his nearest competitor Lilamani Gautam of the CPN-UML obtained 3,462 votes. Kushum Devi Thapa of the Nepali Congress is placed in third position with 3,081 votes.
