Parbat Kumar Karki Reappointed as Citizen Investment Trust Executive Director

The Government of Nepal has appointed Parbat Kumar Karki as the Executive Director of Citizen Investment Trust (CIT).

The Cabinet appointed Karki at its meeting on Bhadra 03, 2083, under Section 42(1) of the Citizen Investment Trust Act, 2047.

A former Executive Director of Nepal Rastra Bank, Karki has previously served as CIT’s Executive Director after being selected through open competition on Magh 03, 2080.

He has also served as CEO of Nepal Grameen Bikas Bank and Kisan Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha.

Karki holds a Master of Banking and Finance from Griffith University, Australia, and a postgraduate degree in Management from Tribhuvan University.
