Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s political advisor Asim Shah has said that the government introduced the new ordinances by internalizing democratic values, aiming to ensure prompt and efficient public service delivery. He stated that the ordinances are intended to remove legal obstacles and facilitate the progress of works related to public concerns.

The Prime Minister’s advisor further noted that the ordinances were recommended as a necessary step to address policy-level complexities within the administrative system.

Taking to his social media accounts today, Advisor Shah mentioned that the President of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) had already urged political appointees to pave the way for governance reforms in line with the spirit of the people’s fresh mandate.

He argued that the ordinances would help promote result-oriented governance by breaking existing deadlocks in the execution of development and administrative works.

For the same purpose, the cabinet meeting held on April 27 had recommended the ordinances for authentication by President Ramchandra Paudel, Shah added.

Advisor Shah also emphasized that the ordinances are not intended to serve the interests of any individual or group, but to strengthen the effectiveness and efficiency of state mechanisms.
