NRB to Withdraw Rs. 30 Billion from Banks Through 21-Day Auction

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is set to withdraw Rs. 30 billion from the banking system to manage excess liquidity.
The central bank will collect this amount through a 21-day deposit auction, inviting banks and financial institutions to submit their bids. The bidding will take place online at 3 PM on Sunday.
NRB has stated that both the principal and interest will be returned on June 1.
