NRB Governor Maha Prasad Adhikari expresses worries towards possible toll of COVID 2nd wave in Nepalese economy; addresses 49th BoD meeting of ACU
Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Maha Prasad Adhikari has expressed worries that the economy of Nepal can witness a major blow after the second wave of COVID 19 hit Nepal thereby forcing closures and uncertainties all around.
Governor Mr. Adhikari was addressing the 49th board meet of the Asian Clearing Unit (ACU) on Jestha 10, 2078.
Governor Mr. Adhikari highlighted the reform acts the Rastra Bank has been instrumenting to revive the economy devastated by the first wave of COVID and the swift initiation of the central bank to promote the use of the digital mode of payment, as per the media statement issued by the NRB.
