No progress in proportion to spending

Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development has drawn a conclusion that there is no consistency between the financial and physical progress. The data presented in the review of first quarterly progress of fiscal year 2072-73 BS revealed discrepancies between the spending and physical infrastructure development progress. Acting Secretary at National Planning Commission (NPC) Pushpa Lal Shakya said, "There is no proportional progress on physical infrastructure development in consistent with financial flow. But there is a big problem to take responsibility for the low progress". Stressing the need to plan towards developing framework of structures in consistent with federal setup of the country, he suggested the Ministry to flow unspent money of the projects to the feasible infrastructure development works.
