NMB Microfinance 5th AGM approves 25% bonus share; Introduced tablet banking service

NMB Microfinance Bittiya Sanstha Limited has successfully conducted its 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Mangsir 15, 2074.
On the 5th AGM, the company has approved to issue 25 percent bonus share and 1.315 percent for cash dividend for tax purpose from the profit it had earned in the FY 2073/74 and its capital reached 14.8 crore after issuance of bonus share.
Issuing a press statement published today, it stated that, the meeting was held at Grand Hotel, Pokhara has endorsed agendas for amending the bank’s Memorandum of Association, Article of Association, Financial Highlights of 2073/74, appointments of auditor, increment of meeting allowance of BOD members and increment of authorized, issued and paid-up capital. Also the bank had appointed one independent director.
Furthermore, the microfinance company has introduced tablet banking service to its customers in order to provide easy and fast services to its customers. Mr. Uttam Blon, Chairman of NMB Microfinance inaugurated the new service. Earlier, NMB Microfinance had signed an agreement with Uranus Tech Nepal Pvt Ltd for the tablet banking services.
The company has also provided award to the brave field officers from different branches. It has been providing services from 67 branch offices to its customers. NMB Microfinance has collected Rs 48 crore in deposits and disbursed Rs 2.74 arba in loans till Kartik end. It has total of 64,152 female members added in the statement.
