NIC Asia Capital Offers Discount on Lifetime Demat Accounts and Mero Share Services
NIC Asia Capital Limited has rolled out a set of demat and Mero Share account schemes for fiscal year 2083/84, including a one-time lifetime renewal option, as part of its ongoing "One Nepali, One Demat Account" campaign.
Under the offer, new and existing account holders can pay a one-time fee of Rs 999 for lifetime demat account renewal and Rs 1,000 for lifetime Mero Share account renewal, replacing the annual charges of Rs 100 and Rs 50, respectively. The lifetime facility is available until the end of Shrawan 2083.
The company is also offering free demat account opening with a full waiver on the first-year renewal fee for accounts opened through NIC Asia Capital and its branch offices, as well as through NIC Asia Bank branches using the bank's designated free savings accounts.
Separately, a student-focused scheme "NIC Asia Student Demat Service" provides free demat accounts, a first-year renewal waiver, and free Mero Share registration, aimed at encouraging youth participation in the capital market.
