NEPSE’s Dramatic U-Turn: Market Recovers 50+ Points from Intraday Low to Close Green

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a moderate gain today, gaining by 19.70 points (0.69%) to settle at 2,851.09. Throughout the day market sees a sharp decline however at the very last hour of the today's trading session Index ended in Green.
The benchmark index opened at 2,831.36, touching an intraday high of 2,860.55, while the lowest point was 2,788.84. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 11.11 Arba, with 27,942,779 shares traded across 339 companies through 137,857 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 48.47 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 16.37 Kharba.
RIDI Power Company Limited (RIDI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 48.48 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 367.80.
Five companies hit the upper circuit that includes RSML, BJHL, SKHL, RLEL and HFIN.
Meanwhile, Saptakoshi Development Limited recorded the Highest fall, falling 8.96% and it's last trading price is Rs. 954.40.
Most of the sector ended in green and only two sector Mutual Fund and Other Index ended in red. Highest drop is recorded in other index and highest increment recorded in Manufacturing and Processing Index.
