NEPSE Witnessed a Moderate loss of 2.00 Points; Intraday Turnover At 3.94 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double digit fall today, falling by 2.00 points (0.07%) to settle at 2,649.51. This comes after a fall of 8.50 points in the yesterday trading session.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2649.77 and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,662.44 and a low of 2,640.26 before settling at the close. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.94 Arba, with 7,727,649 shares traded across 359 companies through 39,546 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.34 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.26 Kharba.


Global IME Bank Limited Debenture 2086/87 (GBILD86/87) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 33.16 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 1,141.80.


Snow Rivers Limited (SNORL) Led the gainer's list with 15.00% positive circuits. The stock Closed at Rs. 343.50.


Meanwhile, Kalika Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd (KMCDB) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 10.76%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 821.00.

 

Among sectors, Trading Index registered the highest gain by 1.08%, while Microfinance Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.56%.
