NEPSE Upsurges 34.42 Points, NRN Tops Turnover While Overall Volume Stood at Rs. 9.74 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit gain today, gaining 34.42 points (1.29%) to settle at 2,694.82. This follows a 28.91-point gain in the previous session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,667.9, touching an intraday high at 2,696.13, while the lowest point was 2,661.37. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 9.74 Arba, with 30,182,341 shares traded across 317 companies through 89,468 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.89 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.23 Kharba.
NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 55.53 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 2,250.
Green Development Bank Ltd. (GRDBL) and Khanikhola Hydropower Co. Ltd. (KKHC) led the gainers' list with a 9.99% gain each.
Meanwhile, 9% ICFC Finance Limited Debenture 2088 (ICFCD88) recorded the steepest drop, falling 3.73%.
Among sectors, the Life Insurance Index sector registered the highest gain, gaining 2.83%, while the Mutual Fund Index saw the highest loss at 0.06%.
