NEPSE Starts New Fiscal Year with Green Light; Index Skyrockets By 75.84 Points, Overall Volume Reached Rs. 16.59 Arba

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a gain today, gaining 75.84 points (2.71%) to settle at 2,870.63. This follows a 34.61 -point gain in the previous session.

The benchmark index opened at 2,797.41, touching an intraday high of 2,878.77, while the lowest point was 2,796.58. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 16.59 Arba, with 38,634,350 shares traded across 311 companies through 141,434 transactions. The market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.83 Kharba, while the float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 16.33 Kharba.

 

Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 84.42 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 1,372.00.

 

Trade Tower Limited (TTL) led the gainer's list with a 10.0% gain each.

 

Meanwhile, NIBL Stable Fund (NIBLSTF) recorded the steepest drop, falling 7.58%.

 

Among sectors, the Others Index registered the highest gain, gaining 5.09%, while the Mutual Fund saw the least gain at 0.04%.
