NEPSE slips below 960 level; plunges 7.53 points

The Benchmark index of Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) dipped down by 7.53 points or 0.78 percent to close below 960 at 956.59 level.
Similarly NEPSE Sensitive and Float also plunged by 1.54 and 0.54 points to close at 203.65 and 67.18 level respectively.
Opening at 964.13 level this afternoon the local bourse slide downhill throughout the day to finally close at 956.59 at end.
Altogether 493,740 unit shares of 133 scrips were traded through 1,422 transaction worth Rs 198.73 Million.
Except HydroPower (2,209.31) which gained 4.53 points, each sub-index landed in red today. Banking slipped down by 8.36 points or 1 percent to close at 829.19 level.
Similarly Development (804.90) and Finance (538.1) went down by 4.57 and 0.44 points respectively.
Insurance dropped by double digit of 57.61 points to settle at 4051.69 level.
Manufacturing (1471.75), Others (758.94) and Hotels (2008.06) dipped by 0.93 point, 3.52 points and 0.14 point respectively.
Shares like GBIME, CHCL and MBL were traded maximum today.
SHBL, MSBBL and MMDBL were among the top gainers of the day whereas share price of CSDBL, BUDBL and MBBL plunged maximum today.
